For local students applying with HKDSE results, the best 5 subjects will be taken into consideration as follows:

NOTE:

The two subjects may include:
- 2 elective subjects; or
- 1 elective subject and Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2.
Preferred subjects: Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2, Economics, and ICT.
Taking Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2 will be strongly recommended.

For students applying with other examination results, strong performance in mathematics-related subjects is preferred.

JUPAS: Before release of HKDSE results. Only the candidates putting IDADM in Band A will be selected for an interview.

Non-JUPAS: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend interviews when necessary.
